us Friday, June 28, 5:30 – 9 p.m. for the second annual New Castle Chamber of Commerce free Summer Block Party! Last year’s event was so much fun, and this year’s should be bigger and better. The Notecrackers, a Denver rockabilly band, will open the show, followed by headliner and local favorite Dustin Elliott and The Broken Radio. Two food trucks, The Rolling Fork and Mama’s Pierogi, will be onsite so that you can dine and dance the night away. You can meet and mingle with chamber members under the shade trees at Burning Mountain Park in downtown New Castle. Adults can purchase beer, wine and seltzers with ID. No outside drinks allowed. Please leave your four-legged friends at home.
