Sopris Alpaca Farm

Welcome to our passion! We have been thoroughly enjoying the “alpaca lifestyle” since 2012. We simply cannot imagine our lives without these animals! Cory & I purchased “the 53” in 2017 to have more room to grow our Sopris Alpaca herd. Our motto soon became, “Come with a Vision…Capture a DREAM!” We spent the first year bringing this 1896 historic property back to its natural beauty. After finishing our beautiful cabin, we renovated the rustic building behind the cabin that is now our Alpaca Boutique. And finally, we have finished our last renovations. A shabby chic farm studio we are now using as an Airbnb. And, one more house on the property that we completely renovated and are using as 2 separate Airbnb’s.

Sitting right among the alpacas, guests can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, lots of serenity, and ALPACAS, of course! Our vision has been unfolding for over 5 years now and we’re living our DREAM! We feel so blessed to have accidentally fallen in the path of alpacas! Our lives are forever changed. Our farm is open to the public daily from 10-4 so that others can come back and enjoy a bit of farm life and have an Alpaca experience. Hand feeding alpacas is a real treat! We also spend time traveling to Alpaca shows from October -April. Showing animals that we have raised here on the farm. Our lives are busy but our hearts are full.Come spend time with us and fall in love with the wonderful world of Alpacas!
